Founded basicmath LLC in Tokyo. Launched contract services for web development, system development, and digital marketing. Managed comprehensive IT operations for a major retail group in the Tokyo metropolitan area, covering everything from SNS and advertising management to CRM system development and operations.
Partnered with EmbedSocial, a social media widget platform, becoming the exclusive distributor in Japan. From a complete 0-to-1 start, adoption expanded widely — from major enterprises such as SONY, HONDA, YAMAHA, and Mitsubishi Motors to SMEs across Japan.
Began mutual market entry support between Japan and Europe together with 36 Chambers. The foundation for global collaboration was born.
2022
Government-Recognized Proof
First selected for the Japan Tourism Agency's Tourism DX project. As a member of the Fukui Prefecture Tourism DX Consortium, responsible for data collection, AI analysis, and marketing PoC.
Established EmbedSocial Japan Inc. as a 50:50 joint venture with EmbedSocial's parent company to strengthen positioning in the Japanese market.
Selected for the Tourism Agency's demonstration project for the second consecutive year. Provided hands-on support for local governments, DMOs, and tourism operators who had data but lacked the knowledge to interpret and utilize it — a challenge highlighted in the previous year's project. Pioneered in-house capability building at tourism sites across Japan through hands-on digital marketing training.
Recognized a technological paradigm shift with the emergence of generative AI and ChatGPT. Focused efforts on generative AI research and product development. Drawing on real-world challenges accumulated through the EmbedSocial business and Tourism DX demonstration projects, began developing mitsumonoAI — an AI platform for the field that aims to make "unusable" zero.
That same year, the Fukui Prefecture Tourism DX Consortium's initiatives were featured as the only Japanese case study in the G7 and OECD policy document "Artificial Intelligence and Tourism."
2025
From Proof to Practice
Selected for the Tourism Agency project for the third time. Demonstrated advanced Tourism DX using generative AI in Fukui Prefecture. Measured concrete field results including 96% reduction in report creation time and 97% reduction in content production time.
Bundled mitsumonoAI with Fukui Shimbun's new "DigiONE" service.
EmbedSocial's domestic users surpassed a cumulative total of 5,000.
